Using oil on birch wood, the artist transports us to a world of architectural precision and dreamlike lightness. Our SIGNATURE exhibition presents new works in Trenkler's unmistakable style. His intense, exaggerated color worlds contrast excitingly with the clear architectural design language. Trenkler studied at the renowned Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and is considered an important representative of New Figuration in Germany. In his works, which oscillate between realism and surrealism, the artist, who lives and works in Cologne, explores the effect of light and shadow on architecture, landscape, and figures.
