Virgo - August 23rd-September 21st

This is a month for coming out of your shell, for being less self-effacing and for enjoying the goodies of life. It’s also extremely creatively inspiring and very good around dealings with children and offspring issues. These areas of life are really empowered around the 8th, 13th and 24th. In fact between the 8th and 27th when Mercury is also in Capricorn, your ability to communicate in a way that is particularly vibrant and creative is underlined and romance will certainly benefit and bloom as a result. The need to express your unique individuality and get acknowledgement for it, will be powerful.

Before the 14th and after the 27th when Venus and then Mercury respectively move into your solar 6th house, you will be a force to be reckoned with intellectually at work. Your charms will be potent before the 14th as will your creative skills when it comes to your everyday working routine, and after the 27th, impressive communications with colleagues will be empowered.

Mars in your sign all month is quite significant and will directly impact all born September 12th to 17th. This group will feel the impact of drive, force, determination, energy, assertiveness and ambition within you, and you may well have to draw on these qualities if other people are challenging, which indeed they may be. The power of the masculine will be strong in your life and intensity and depth will be added to the mix. Financial issues of a complex sort may also be a great catalyst for actions.

However, famously Mars is going retrograde this month on the 24th and will remain in that mode until halfway through April. This will bring a large pause to many of our activities in life and our attitudes, and for this group of Virgos there will be quite an impact from this change of Mars’ direction. Use the time to take stock; recognize that blocks, restrictions and delays are there for a reason. It is a time when you need to review and understand the subtlety of energies that are going on within and without. It is also a time when ambition and drive has to be shelved or internalized on some level as one reviews a bigger picture. This is almost an existential moment. Powerfully and importantly, it is to be remembered that anger and ambition that is frustrated should not become internalized rage. It may in fact for many of you be a time when you reconsider direction quite profoundly and some introversion and retreat may be part of this particular journey.

Jupiter however is in a very positive relationship to you and very much your buddy if born around August 24th to 27th. As in June last year and since November of this year, you have been feeling the benefit of this particular position of Jupiter, as he has been enhancing your Sun. He has brought for some of you a greater confidence in your bigger picture beliefs and ideology and a desire for and appreciation of wisdom in those areas. He has also for others brought a very powerful opportunity for travel, vacations and growth through long-distance connections. It has certainly brought luck and protection for many born in those early days of Virgo. It will have brought some sort of sense of well- being in the roots of yourself and also some domestic gain.

For this same group, Uranus is rather indirectly activating your Sun and this is also giving a need for some change and liberation from certain circumstances, either to do with intimate relationships or financial situations that are complex and Jupiter may be giving you the confidence and direction to know which way to go.

Meanwhile Saturn in rather a dumb note way is maybe focusing your discipline and austerity instincts on to the area of finances and this is right and proper and probably ensures that you will be making wise adjustments to your financial situation, notably if born very late Virgo. Also for this same group, there is a sense of really being inspired about the work direction that you need or want. If you are in the right situation you are able to use your soulful inspiration to further your progress, or you maybe feeling the need to change to something that suits your ideals more.

Finally, Pluto is very positively aligned now as he has been on and off this year, to the Suns of those born August 30th to September 2nd. This will certainly bring to this group of Virgos a desire not to take a back seat or to be in any way shy when it comes to artistic and creative pursuits and belief in self. Equally in romance you are very much your own master with a sense of destiny, determination, empowerment and transformation through the power of love. Children’s issues are incredibly life-enhancing and you can be empowered by children and young people just as you can empower them.
