Being a Disney Underground artist has allowed Miguel to dive deeper into his love for comics. Constantly creating works of art that have bridged iconic figures with Miguel’s famous urban imagination has led to Miguel’s newest focus; Star Wars.

ACME has invited Miguel Paredes to create original works of art, using Star Wars characters for this year’s Comic Con. Miguel has already begun working on pieces that depict the famous characters and will be painting and showcasing the final pieces at Comic Con. As a Star Wars fan himself, Miguel is really looking forward to this project as it will give him a chance to create works of art that have been huge influences to him growing up.

Along with this exciting new project, Miguel is staying busy as he gears up for his upcoming exhibitions. He is working on new pieces for his “Urban Dream ” Series. One of which, titled “Descending Brownstones” uses his iconic figure throwing a Molotov Cocktail into a spray painted building. This piece pays homage to Miguel's New York graffiti background.

This summer is giving Miguel ample opportunities to exhibit locally, nationally and internationally. New works of his own collection and for ACME are currently being created and exhibited. Stay connected for chances to view Miguel's newest works.
