Wir freuen uns, Sie zu der Vernissage unserer nächsten Ausstellung IN BETWEEN am 26. April 2011 von 17.00 bis 21.00 Uhr einzuladen.
Wir konnten zwei sehr unterschiedliche Künstler für die Ausstellung gewinnen.
Marco Pellanda kann man mit Fug und Recht als All-Round-Künstler bezeichnen. Er hat sich mit seinen radikalen, pointierten „politically INcorrecten“ Werken in über 30 Jahren in der internationalen Kunstszene etabliert.
Seine Werke befinden sich in bekannten Sammlungen und in Museen - nicht nur in der Schweiz.
Gerade als preisgekrönter Food-Fotograf in Kooperation mit dem Sternekoch Horst Petermann hat er sich einen Namen gemacht.
Seine ausgestellten Aktbilder zeugen von einer zarten Beobachtungsgabe.
Durch die sehr spezielle Drucktechnik gewinnen die Bilder an Plastizität und bekommen eine eigene, sehr intime Aura. Alle ausgestellten Werke sind Originale einer Einser-Edition.
„Auf zu neuen Ufern“ heisst es für Marco Pellanda ab Mitte des Jahres. Gespannt und mit grosser Vorfreude sieht er der neuen Herausforderung in Paris entgegen.
Diese Ausstellung widmet Marco Pellanda allen Frauen von Zürich „en route pour Paris“.
Mit Simon Zangger (Jhrg 1990) konnten wir einen äusserst talentierten Newcomer der Fotoszene für diese Ausstellung verpflichten.
Aus ehemals 380 Bewerbern und 125 Finalisten, die auf der Photo12 im Januar gezeigt wurden, stach Simon Zangger mit seiner Portraitserie „Wätterschmöcker“ deutlich heraus. Er wollte diese berühmten Urschweizer Wetterfrösche „vor neutralem Hintergrund portraitieren, so dass der Fokus auf ihren ausdrucksstarken Gesichtern liegt“ - gepaart mit den „Instrumenten“ ihrer persönlichen (Wetter-) Prognosekunst.
Diese Interpretation des Wollishofer war dem SZ Magazin (vergleichbar mit dem Tagi-Magi) ein exklusives Interview wert.
Sein Handwerk lernte er in der Fotofachlehre und auf der Zürcher Berufsschule für Gestaltung. Schon jetzt fotografiert Simon Zangger für namhafte Zeitungen und Magazine, wie der Weltwoche oder dem BeobachterNatur.
Auf seinem weiteren Weg werden wir Ihn aktiv begleiten.

We are very happy to announce our next exhibition entitled IN BETWEEN and to invite you to the vernissage.
We were able to attract two artists for this exhibition who could not be more unalike.
By all rights, Marco Pellanda can be characterized as an all round artist. With his pointed, radically „politically INcorrect“ works, he has established himself in the international art scene throughout the last 30 years. His works can be found in reputable collections and museums - not only in Switzerland.
In particular as an award-winning food photographer in cooperation with the starred chef, Horst Petermann, he has made quite a reputation for himself.
His nude photographs on exhibit are witness to his skills of observing tenderly. By means of a special printing process, he enhances the plasticity of his pictures and gives them their own, very intimate aura. All exhibited works are originals with no reproductions or copies.
„Off to foreign shores“ is the call that Marco Pellanda will be following as of the middle of this year. He is looking forward to new challenges in Paris with a great thrill of anticipation.
Marco Pellanda has dedicated this exhibition to all of the women of Zürich „en route pour Paris“ or “enroute to Paris”.
For this exhibition we were able to engage the extremely talented Simon Zangger , who was born in 1990 and is literally a newcomer.
Of the former 380 applicants and the125 finalists who were able to exhibit at the “Photo12” in January, Simon Zangger clearly stood out with his portrait series entitled „Wätterschmöcker“ or “Weather Prophets”. He wanted to portrait these famous primeval Swiss weather prophets innocently and neutrally, so that the focus would be placed on their very expressive faces – coupled with the “instruments” of their personal art of prophesying (weather).
This interpretation of the man from Wollishof (district of Zürich) was so unique that the SZ Magazin (comparable to the Swiss Tagi-Magi or Tages-Anzeiger/Das Magazin) granted him an exclusive interview.
He learned his trade as a photographer’s apprentice and at the Vocational College for Design in Zürich. Simon Zangger has already taken photographs for reputable newspapers and magazines, such as the „Weltwoche” and the “BeobachterNatur”.
We would be most happy to actively accompany him on his further endeavors and welcome you to visit the Vernissage on the 26th of April at the hammer gallery.
