1948 - 1953 Earned a B.F.A. from Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland, OH
1953 Received a Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship From the National Academy of Design
1953 - 1955 Studied with Josef Albers and recieved a M.F.A. from Yale University School of Art and Architecture, New Haven, CT
1955 - 1956 Earned a B.S in Education from Kent State University, Akron, OH
1957 - 1958 Worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, repairing scale models of classical Greek architecture and sculpture
1958 - 1959 Worked at Tiffany and Company, designing miniature silver animals
1963 Charles of the Ritz Award

1963 - 1965 Taught at the Cooper Union, New York , NY
