Born in Poland, in 1941. Her family succeed survive to the second world war and move to Sao Paulo, Brazil, when Barbara was 6 years old. Her life in Brazil provocated a wish to express herself with brushes and oil colors. She began her artistic life in 1975. Her paintings create landscapes she remembers from her childhood when she spent several periods in the farm of the family. Barbara paints essentially day life scenes with vibrant colors, a variety of light, poetry and fantasy.
