Hubert Gallery, located one block east of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, was founded in 1984. Over the years Hubert Gallery has expanded several times to accommodate their increase in inventory. Today, they have a growing reputation as one of the finest galleries in their specialty.

The gallery specializes in French Modernist works on paper and fine art limited Master Graphics and carries an impressive collection of works by Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso.

In addition to their roster of 10 Modern Masters including Matisse, Picasso, Braque, Chagall, and Miró, Hubert Gallery also deals in unique paintings and sculpture by contemporary and emerging artists such as the American painter Geoffrey Johnson who they are proud to feature in an annual solo show.

The director of Hubert Gallery, Greg Hubert, has been an art dealer for the past twenty-seven years. He is an expert in French Modernist prints and works on paper and has traveled extensively to find rare and unique works. Over the years he has been asked to discuss the business of art by both television and radio networks. His interviews have included Oprah Winfrey, The New York Times, and NPR among others.

Currently, Hubert Gallery is exhibiting a selection of Modern Masters and is in the process of planning a Matisse exhibition for the Spring of 2007. It is Hubert Gallery's goal in the coming years to focus their attention on building their roster of contemporary artists in addition to continuing to plan future exhibitions of Modern Masters.
