The Washington State artist, Xiaogang Zhu creates gouache and oil paintings with landscape imagery from his birthplace in China and Seattle. After graduating from the Suzhou Institute of Silk Technology with his BA, he was a professor of art at Shanghai Jiaotong University and a noted textile designer. He came to the states to earn his MA in painting at Radford University in Virginia and is currently a member of the prestigious American Watercolor society. Xiaogang Zhu has been chosen for the Artists of America show for several years and has been included in exhibits at the Albuquerque Museum in New Mexico and the Frye Museum in Seattle, Washington.
